Dec 31st found me putting the final touches on a website for beetlesbbq.com. Doing this site was a great deal of fun because the client was very easy to work with, gave me some creative freedom to create an unusual design, and had a fun theme of Barbecue, Cartoon Cars, and southern charm. In the theme I also created some “home made frames” to house the text and some signs that look old or unusual to use as navigation points. The owners original artwork of a pig in a VW Beetle made the rest sort of flow.

2006 already looks promising in that 2 clients have plans to redesign their site or create a new product. There are also a couple of folks thinking about adding an online store. So I should be busy for a while. I ate my Collards and Black-eyed Peas just to be sure.
