Happy New Year 2009
It has been a while since I have written due to the busy-ness of the holidays and the fact that my wordpress editor was broken.
My family and I spent the weekend before Christmas in Asheville NC. We stayed in a 90 year old log cabin which was small and cozy despite the 12 degree weather outside. We did the usual touristy stuff like touring the Biltmore Estate which was decorated for Christmas, saw the gingerbread house exhibit at the Grove Park Inn, and of course drove along the Blue Ridge Parkway some. Asheville has a nice small zoo which you can run through in about an hour. Food was good and it was a nice trip.
The House was finally finished in December and put on the market. It feels weird not to go over there every weekend and day off. Hoping it sells quickly so I can move on.
I have suspended my web business for a while. I needed a break and our house needs some work. Perhaps I can even get back to my photography this spring.
Below is a picture of me and the family at Biltmore.
Thanks for stopping by.
