Well I guess I am unofficially back in business. Due to some free time and a desire to barter some services I have created a new site. AtlantaCavaliers.com is a breeder of Companion Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. We finally decided to get a puppy for the family and picked the Cavalier as the breed we preferred. After visiting many websites and breeders homes we finally found an ad on Kijiji.com with some puppies available. We met the breeder, Carole Hennenfent, and fell in love with her Cavaliers. The puppies were all beautiful and a little more reasonably priced than the show dog breeders. As we were picking out our puppy I asked Carole if she had a website and she indicated that she had been working on one but it never materialized. A couple of weeks later I sent her a design and she loved it. I built the site using Wordpress as a CMS and did most of the graphics with simple photoshop techniques. It is a very easy site to manage for the owner and will grow with her as she adds content, with very little help from me in the future.

We chose a tri-color male Cavalier and named him Riley. He is a playful and sometimes mischievous pup. House training is going ok but he does not always tell us when he needs to go out. We love him anyway.

In other news, my parents house is under contract. It was a quick sale considering the current housing market. Just a few minor things left to repair for the new owner.
