As usual I have been too busy with other peoples sites to keep up my own. My little webdevelopment business took off in mid December and has not slowed down.

I did get to implement one personal project in that time. webdevelopersbookstore.com is an Amazon A-store with a theme of web development books. I buy 3-5 books a year, so other developers likely do too. Plus I could not find any sites with a wide array of products aimed at this market besides Amazon or Ebay. This site has made its first sale and will continue to be expanded as I have time.

FanHeaterLight.com is a project in the works. The owner required an online store to start his own company. I built an OSCommerce storefront using STS template system with some basic graphics. All he has to do is load the products. This solution was implemented for less than $300, There is no reason anyone with a product can not have their own online store.

My favorite project so far has been redesigning MeetingUniverse.com. I initially became involved with this project through a template design contest at sitepoint.com. Once awarded the contract the owner suggested several design changes he wanted and requested I make other tools within his site congruent to the template. He has been using open source applications for forums and rating systems related to his site. We also added rss feed readers to keep content fresh and dynamic.

FaxSolutions.us also got a facelift and added some new content.

There are more projects in the works.
