Version 2 of traqmate.com has kept me fairly busy the last couple of months. I am pleased with the results but there are still some little tweeks to add to make it even more dynamic and useful. One of the cool features we added was a mapping application that shows what US states track-systems has sample data for. The data is provided by traqmate team or by customers using their software.

The rollover menu is similar to the one used in Lamin-x.com but this time I used animated gifs for the background. In order to see the full effect of the animations you need to view the site in Firefox. IE doesn’t support some of the functions.

The site is mainly formatted by CSS but does have some flash and some PHP generated links which keep it from validating at w3c. I have tested it in Firefox 1.3 and higher, and MSIE 6. My only access to a Mac running Safari did not play the flash content, but that could have been a browser setting preventing it.
