Testing the FireFox extension Performancing

I was surfing my usual blog rounds and noticed a link on problogger.net  for the firefox extension - Performancing. This nifty little text editor lets me  create posts for my blogs from my browser without logging in.

There are some limitations but overall it seems to be a friendly tool. It allows for basic text editing with the usual features of Bold, Italic, and underline, smaller text, bigger text and other familiar items. You can view your text with the editor or in code view. It lacks the features you may have in your wordpress plugins such as keytag edits.

Set up was easy, you merely launch the extension, and fill in the url for the blog. It detects what type of blogging software you are using. You can set up multiple blogs. Over all a nice addition.

I also like the HTML Tidy extension which helps me check my websites validity.

The perfomancing plugin is also part of the new ad network Performancing.com. Performancing is an ad network aimed at bloggers and their readers. Worth a look if you like affiliate programs and click ad services.
